Fire-Damaged Concrete Evaluation

Fire damage to buildings requires inspection and evaluation by an expert to determine sections of a concrete structure that may have to be repaired or replaced. Oftentimes, a smoke-charred surface may not have incurred any structural damage; the only way to ensure that the structure is still safe though is to have a concrete specialist investigate.

Sections sustaining high heat are to be identified by appropriate test methods and evaluated accordingly. Non-destructive tests, some minimally invasive tests and analytical evaluations of samples are used in the determination of what sections of the structure require remediation or removal.

C3S has performed expert concrete evaluations and has assisted clients in resolving issues with their fire-damaged structures. Our gallery has examples of previous projects dealing with fire-damage evaluation. For concrete consulting, please contact us online or call our toll free line, 1-888-281-5808.
