ASR

Alkali silica reaction (ASR) is the cause of damage done to several concrete infrastructure.
It shows in forms of cracks and associated corrosion.
C3S has performed evaluation identifying ASR and recommending approaches for repair.
ASR occurs when the following conditions occur in concrete structures:

High temperatures tend to accelerate the process.

Cracks on a Toll Road
